The wolf among us

Developed and published by Telltale games the wolf among us is a game about fairy tales living among Humans in a dark and gritty universe after being forced to retreat from the black forest. The player takes on the role of the feared and hated sheriff Digby Wolf, the big bad wolf as he tries to uncover a series of brutal killings in this point and click adventure game.

The game has a nice and neon noir style theme and intro along with choices what do require consideration. All characters are flushed all and the plot carries over to the next episode perfectly and has exciting twists and turns, the ending was an extremely well suited ending with various styles of justice being dealt out in all and questions left as well. The art style really suits the game incredibly well and the voice actors were just as incredible.

However, the game proceeds to the next stage with delay and some choices don’t feel like they matter that much in the end but otherwise that’s it. The story really felt like it followed a single narrative making all choices seem futile, and some characters had character development too late for anyone to really care.

But overall the game was incredibly well put together and art and voice actors made it work even more the negatives on the game are more like little nit-picks. The game really captured Bill Willingham’s Fables comic book series and with that in mid along with everything else this episodic game series easily receives its rating.
